On May 1st 2002, Permanence Bahnhof Luzern MedCenter AG opened its doors under the name Permanence medical center Lucerne.
The history of the MedCenter Group began in 2002, when Myriam Matter founded Permanence Bahnhof Luzern MedCenter AG. Today, more than 20 years later, the MedCenter group of companies comprises four further AGs:

- Praxis am Bahnhof Luzern MedCenter AG
- MedCenter Advisory AG
- Practice Mall of Switzerland MedCenter AG
Mr. Herbert Sterchi is responsible for the management of the above-mentioned companies. He has acquired an enormous wealth of experience in the area of management/financial planning - particularly in the IT sector.
