In May 2002 Myriam Matter and her former partner founded the Permanence medical center Lucerne. In August 2016, she took over the shares of her former partner and today is the sole owner of Permanence Bahnhof Lucerne MedCenter AG. Since this acquisition, Ms. Myriam Matter has founded the following companies:
- MedCenter AG (Holding)
- Praxis am Bahnhof Luzern MedCenter AG
- MedCenter Advisory AG
- Praxis Mall of Switzerland MedCenter AG
During emergency consultations, we are increasingly finding that many patients no longer have a connection to a family doctor. Since we generally do not perform any follow-up examinations in the emergency practice, the shortage of general practitioners increasingly confronts us with the situation of discharging patients "onto the street".
For this reason, the owner Mrs. Myriam Matter has decided to establish and expand a family practice at the train station in Lucerne, as well as in the Mall of Switzerland. Hereby the emergency patients have the possibility to benefit from an adequate follow-up, resp. also longer-term family doctor consultation and care.
The management of the above mentioned companies is taken over by Mr. Herbert Sterchi. He has acquired an enormous wealth of experience in the field of business management/financial planning - especially in the IT sector. Now he brings his know-how in an extremely effective as well as practical way to the healthcare industry.
